7:35 PM - Outside the Café

The moment they stepped outside, Delhi greeted them with traffic, horns, and enough chaos to qualify as a natural disaster.

Aaru stretched dramatically.

Aaru: "I survived."

Kabir: "Unfortunately."

Aaru: "Why do you speak like a disappointed father?"

Kabir: "Why do you speak at all?"

Aaru: "Personal attack."

Siya sighed.

Siya: "Can both of you stop?"

Aaru: "No."

Kabir: "No."

For the first time all evening, they agreed on something.

A black luxury car pulled up near the sidewalk.

Siya immediately stopped.

Siya: "Absolutely not."

The stranger raised an eyebrow.

Stranger: "What?"

Siya: "I'm not getting into a mysterious rich man's car."

Aaru: "Valid."

Kabir: "It's just a car."

Aaru: "That's exactly what serial killers say."

Kabir: "I hate you."

Aaru: "The feeling is mutual."

The stranger pinched the bridge of his nose.

Stranger: "You fainted today."

Siya: "I recovered."

Stranger: "You almost fell into traffic."

Siya: "Technically, I didn't."

Stranger: "Because I caught you."

Aaru slapped Siya's shoulder.

Aaru: "POINT TO HIM."

Siya ignored her.

Suddenly, Aaru's phone buzzed.

Then buzzed again.

And again.

And again.

Aaru: "Why am I famous?"

She opened Instagram.

Five seconds later, her scream echoed across the street.

Aaru: "WE'RE DEAD."

Siya: "What happened now?"

Aaru shoved the phone in her face.

A new post had appeared.

The blurry café photo.

The one with Siya and the stranger.

Except now it had over twenty thousand views.

And the comments were unhinged.

> WHO IS THIS MAN?

> SIYA WON.

> THIS ISN'T A DATE. THIS IS A CINEMATIC UNIVERSE.

> SOMEBODY FIND HIS NAME.

> I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE.

Siya wanted to disappear.

Immediately.

Then Aaru froze.

Aaru: "...Wait."

Siya: "What now?"

Aaru: "Someone started a hashtag."

Kabir: "No."

Aaru: "YES."

Siya: "What hashtag?"

Aaru turned the screen around.

#MafiaManAndWattpadGirl

Silence.

Pure silence.

Kabir looked at the sky.

Kabir: "God, if you're listening, end me."

The stranger actually laughed.

The audacity.

Then another notification appeared.

Aaru opened it.

And nearly collapsed.

Aaru: "OH MY GOD."

Siya: "WHAT?"

Aaru: "Somebody made fan art."

Siya: "WHAT DO YOU MEAN FAN ART?!"

There it was.

A digital drawing.

Of Siya and the stranger.

Standing under rain.

Looking romantic.

The artist had even added sparkles.

SPARKLES.

Siya: "We've known each other for three hours!"

Aaru: "The internet works fast."

Kabir: "This is exactly why I don't have social media."

Aaru: "No, you don't have social media because your personality is a firewall."

The stranger took the phone.

Looked at the fan art.

Then calmly zoomed in.

Everyone stared at him.

Siya: "...Why are you zooming in?"

Stranger: "The artist made my jaw uneven."

Aaru screamed.

Kabir walked away.

Physically walked away.

Before anyone could recover-

A little girl suddenly ran toward them.

Couldn't have been older than eight.

She stopped directly in front of the stranger.

Looked up.

And gasped dramatically.

Little Girl: "MAMMA!"

Everyone jumped.

A woman rushed over.

Woman: "I'm so sorry!"

But the little girl wasn't looking at her mother.

She was staring at the stranger.

Little Girl: "You look exactly like the villain from my cartoons."

The silence was immediate.

Aaru folded in half laughing.

Siya choked.

Kabir covered his face.

The stranger blinked.

Once.

Twice.

Little Girl: "But you're prettier."

The child skipped away happily.

Leaving complete destruction behind her.

Aaru was CRYING now.

Actual tears.

Aaru: "PRETTIER."

Kabir: "I'm never recovering from this."

Even Siya couldn't stop laughing.

She laughed so hard she had to hold her stomach.

And for a moment-

The stranger just watched her.

The noise of the city fading into the background.

The laughter.

The smile.

The happiness.

A strange softness crossed his face.

One he immediately hid when she looked up.

But Kabir noticed.

And unfortunately-

So did Aaru.

Aaru: "...Oh."

Kabir: "Don't."

Aaru: "OH."

Kabir: "Aaru."

Aaru: "HE'S GONE."

Siya: "Who?"

Aaru: "Him."

Kabir: "He's standing right there."

Aaru: "No. His soul."

The stranger narrowed his eyes.

Stranger: "You're very dramatic."

Aaru: "And you're doomed."

The smile vanished from his face instantly.

Which only confirmed her theory.

And that was the funniest part of all.
